Faith? the Necessary Response.
* The good news of Jesus Christ's gift, his life as a ransom to God for your life demands a response.
* You must either BELIEVE or DISBELIEVE in Jesus Christ, the savour who died on the cross and shed his blood for you.
"He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath
not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God."
John 3:18
* You can't hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ and remain neutral. You are either moved toward belief or away from it.
* A decision to put off this choice until latter is a rejection of God, and is in effect a choice away from the Gospel.
"And he spake a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully: And
he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits? And he said, This will
I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods. And I will say to
my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry. But God said unto him,
Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided? So is
he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God."

* God holds each person personally accountable for the choice he or she makes regarding Jesus Christ.
"He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life;
but the wrath of God abideth on him."
John 3:36
"And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life."
John 5:40
* The choice that leads to salvation is FAITH in Jesus Christ alone NO works required. So important is this truth
that the Bible declares this nearly 200 times in the new testament.
Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved," Acts 16:31
"Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting
life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life."
John 5:24
"Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead,
yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?"
John 11:25,26
* By contrast choosing not to believe in Jesus Christ leads to eternal condemnation. You are without excuse.
* Faith is more than intellectual agreement to a theological truth. Biblical faith is trust placed in the living person
of Jesus Christ, He alone is the one who saves you, therefore he alone is the one you must trust for salvation.
